Manages employee training initiatives; design, deliver, and evaluates instructional programs. Facilitates and tracks organizational goals, KPIs and implements employee and organizational development strategies to remain compliant and support employee career development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports training programs; designs and delivers training programs as needed by working with subject matter experts.
- Manages all aspects of training delivery; securing internal and external instructors, scheduling, ensuring that necessary equipment, materials, and supplies are available, confirming training location, registrants, etc. and evaluating trainings.
- Manages registration process for all courses; scheduling and confirming staff for all internal and external trainings; establishes and maintains an electronic training database.
- In collaboration with program management, ensures that training and retraining required by funding sources is completed in a timely manner and the agency remains compliant.
- Facilitates various levels of training classes including management training, CPR, Crisis Management, Preventing Abuse & Neglect, Pillar Care Policy training, and Introduction to Developmental Disabilities.
- Generates monthly training reports and participates in monthly discussion with program to and quality teams to assess and support ongoing needs of staff.
- Provides Program and Department Directors with performance improvement tools and measurements.
- Partners to conducts training needs analysis across the agency and writes needs analyses reports.
- Performs other related tasks and projects as needed by HR generalist, supervisor and assists with onboarding processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School degree with prior experience or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Social Work, or related field.
- MS Office; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Intermediate to Advance Excel.
- Familiarity with service provider careers such as Direct Service Provider, Residential Care Assistant and/or One-to-one Aides is a huge plus.
- Excellent communication skills including presentation, verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated self-starter with the desire to continuously improve.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks
