Pillar Care Continuum provides a wide range of benefits to promote well-being and the best possible quality of life for its employees with many benefits at no cost to employees.
We offer three health plans with a broad range of co-payments and deductibles. These plans also provide coverage for care received either from an extensive in-network physician/provider directory, or for an out-of-network physician or provider. A comprehensive regional and national network of retail pharmacies, and discounted rates available for a 90-day supply of maintenance medications are offered for member convenience by mail order. Our Plan offers a wide variety of supplemental health and wellness education opportunities as well.
With a choice of two programs, Dental DMO or Dental PPO, employees have the opportunity to select from a nationwide network of participating dentists. Preventive Care Services are covered at 100% with in-network dentists, with varying coverage levels for Basic/Restorative care and Major Restorative Care, with Orthodontic Benefits included.
The vision care plan helps you manage the cost of periodic routine eye examinations and quality corrective eyewear (eyeglasses or contact lenses). Your eligible dependents (your spouse or qualifying domestic partner and children) may also be enrolled for vision care coverage when you are enrolled.
Pillar Care provides, at no cost to all full time employees, group term life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. Coverage begins on the first day of the month following 30 days of full-time employment and continues through the last day of the month upon which employment is terminated or reduced to less than full-time status.
Any full-time employee is eligible to purchase a separate voluntary life insurance policy using payroll deduction. An employee can tailor the level of coverage and subsequent payments to meet his or her individual needs.
Pillar Care provides a long-term disability insurance plan for eligible employees. Under this plan, an employee who is unable to work due to illness, injury, or other disability, which meets the policy criteria, receives a percentage of his or her compensation during the period in which he or she is unable to work.
Pillar Care employees are eligible to participate in the Flexible Spending Account plans for the use of health care and dependent care expenses. The IRS allows employees to have a portion of their salary deducted on a pre-tax basis to pay for eligible expenses.
Pillar Care offers a 401(k) retirement plan. Our 401(k) plan allows an employee the opportunity to put aside pre-tax earnings while saving for retirement. Employees can choose to contribute up to 100% of their pay (up to a federally determined annual limit) in one or more available investment opportunities. Participating employees are eligible for employer matching contributions based on a percentage of their own contributions following 30 days of employment.
Pillar Care recognizes the need for employees to take time off. We have a generous integrated Paid Time Off (PTO) policy that combines vacation, personal, and sick time. Benefits-eligible employees are also eligible for PTO.
We provide paid time off to full-time employees for agency-wide holidays that are published each year. Part-time employees are also entitled to holiday pay if they work on a holiday.
The Employee Life Assistance Program (LAP) is available to provide confidential help to all employees who wish to deal with personal problems, which may affect their work, health or home life.
The Atlantic Federal Credit Union offers many transactions to our employees such as savings and checking accounts, loans and mortgages and many other financial services. Such transactions can be processed through bi-weekly payroll checks, and membership is also available to family members of enrolled agency employees.
Employees of Pillar Care are eligible to apply for auto and home owners insurance policies with New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance.
Upon Supervisor and Director approval, Pillar Care will contribute to full-time Teachers’, Therapists’, or Nurses’ tuition for work-related courses that lead to a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. degree to an accredited college or university. Pillar Care will also contribute to the cost of enrollment for a work-related course that extends over a period of several weeks or months that leads to a certificate, license, or other non-degree credential at a college, university or other training institution
Pillar Care will reimburse up to $5,250 per calendar year.
