First Annual Pillar Care Golf Outing Swings Big and Raises $500,000 for Residential Services

100 golfers covered the greens of Bayonne Country Club to compete in Pillar Care’s First Annual Swings to Independence Golf Outing. The event raised $500,000 to support the renovations of Pillar Care group homes. Pillar Care operates 17 group homes throughout New Jersey, assisting individuals with disabilities to live more independently. The renovations will vastly improve the quality of life of residents in Pillar Care homes.

Lead by Michael Petillo of Petillo Companies, the event co-hosts were Phil Monaco of Peerless Concrete Products Co., Jeff Milanaik of Bridge Industrial, Bob Murray of Alston Construction, and Clark Machemer of Crow Holdings. The hosts worked tirelessly to put this outing together and raise funds to support Pillar Care’s Residential Services.
