The ribbon is cut for Pillar Care Continuum’s first home for veterans with disabilities, located in Hardyston, NJ! We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to provide this much-needed affordable housing for those who have done so much for our country.
This home was made possible by the funding provided by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. Thank you to DCA and Hardyston Township for the opportunity to give U.S. veterans a place they are proud to call home. Thank you as well to NJ SOS Veteran Stakeholders group for their work connecting us with veterans in need of housing and for sourcing furniture donations for the apartments.
Veterans and their families can find comfort in the spacious two-bedroom apartments. Each of the four units have been furnished with donations from Ashley Furniture to be ready for move-in. Residents can enjoy a quiet life in the rural countryside of historic Hardyston, NJ.
Providing services for New Jersey veterans with disabilities has been a longstanding goal for our agency. We are grateful for the opportunity to provide this much-needed housing for the service members that have done so much for our country.
