Pillar High School Opens the Newly Renovated Tom Litwin Technology Center

This month, Pillar High School cut the ribbon on the newly renovated Tom Litwin Technology Center! The room includes a host of new, accessible technology to assist students in their educational and therapeutic development. The room is fitted with accessible keyboards, dynamic touchscreen monitors, a 3D printer, adjustable desks, and EyeGaze technology, which allows students to operate their computers using their vision. The room was re-dedicated to Tom Litwin, a longtime Board member who spearheaded the fundraising campaigns to develop both the elementary school and the high school.

Thank you to Pillar Board member Brian Kloza for sharing some memories of Tom and to board chair Clark Machemer for speaking about the importance of technology in the schools. Special thanks to the Litwin & Kronick Families, Bob Murray & Alston Construction, the Gittleman Family, the Halkyard Family, Charlie & Kathy Morales, and all the donors of the Wheelin’ -n’ -Walkin’ Challenge for making this room possible.

See all the new changes to the room in the video below!
