Pillar Care officially cut the ribbon on the Wharton Affordable Housing Complex. The complex brings eleven affordable housing units to the Borough of Wharton, providing safe and accessible housing for the community. The apartment complex sits next to our Wharton Group Home for adults with disabilities.

The ceremony was attended by building residents and stakeholders who worked on the project to ensure the needs of the community was being met. We are grateful for their support in the development of the affordable housing complex.

The development of the Wharton Housing Complex was made possible by a donation of land from John Crimi of County Concrete Corporation, and a grant by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. We extend our deepest gratitude for their contributions to better the community.
A top priority of our 2024-2026 Strategic Plan is growing the agency to allow us to serve more people. The openings of the Wharton Affordable Housing Complex and the Hardyston Home for Veterans are major milestones in the expansion of our services.
